On February 21, some 40 Gurukul Seva Trust students filled a piggy bank with money they had saved from their pocket expenditures and mailed it to Yadav’s ancestral village address in Kundra, according to school officials. While incarcerated, Rajpal Yadav promised to meet the Gurukul students who sent him money from their pocket savings.
Students at a gurukul school in the Shahjahanpur area of Uttar Pradesh have expressed dissatisfaction after comedian-actor Rajpal Yadav failed to meet with them, even though they had previously offered to bring him money they had saved in their pockets while he was incarcerated.
However, Yadav stated that he had not yet had the chance to spend quality time with his family members and that he will most certainly meet, embrace, and snap pictures with them.
As a show of support when Yadav was arrested, over 40 students from Gurukul Seva Trust filled a piggy bank with money they had saved from their own costs and mailed it to his ancestral village address in Kundra on February 21. In a heartfelt letter, the kids also expressed how much they wanted to meet him once he was freed.
The pupils can be heard saying, “Namaste Rajpal bhaiya, we have learned that you have returned home after being released from jail,” in a 29-second video that has gone viral. You deserve congratulations.
“We all want to see you and find out if the assistance we sent you was successful. Why didn’t you reply to our letter, if you did? We’re angry with you. In the video, the kids also stated that he could have at least spoken to them to reassure them even if he was unable to meet them.
Yadav told PTI over the phone that he had just arrived home and had not yet had time to spend quality time with his family. He claimed to be compiling information about those who had offered him assistance.
“I was informed that the kids came from an orphanage when I first saw them. According to him, children who have access to an ashram are not considered orphans.
Yadav declared, “I am a person who believes in the guru tradition, and all those children are my own,” after learning that the kids attended a gurukul school. Without a doubt, I’ll meet them, give them a hug, and take pictures with them.” The pupils filled the piggy bank together, and before it was shipped, some extra money was added, Kumar Sagar, the chairman of the Gurukul Seva Trust school, told PTI on Wednesday.
In 2010, Yadav borrowed Rs 5 crore for his movie “Ata Pata Lapata” from Murli Projects Private Limited. Later, he was imprisoned for not repaying the money. According to the school administration, the kids sent him their savings as a little token of support during that time.
Yadav comes from Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh and is well-known for his comedic parts in Hindi movies.
