Vishal Mishra, a music composer, has endorsed the postponement of Toxic. The producers revealed on Wednesday that the Yash-starring film would now open in theaters on June 4 rather than March 19. Citing the continuing war in the Middle East, the team stated that the film’s potential to reach a larger worldwide audience may be impacted by the situation.
Regarding the Post by Vishal Mishra
Vishal Mishra, who wrote and performed the song Tabaahi, which was released on March 2, said he was in favor of the change. “This film and everything we do is for the FANS, but while the world is on edge, restraint speaks louder than promotion,” he stated, sharing the official announcement. What a considerate action. Enjoy the music of #Tabaahi till #Toxic opens in theaters on June 4th.
Toxic’s Notice of Postponement
In a formal note posted on X, Yash verified the updated release date.
“Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is a film we conceptualized with the vision to create cinema for a global audience,” the announcement stated. It was created with the goal of connecting with audiences both domestically and internationally, and it was filmed in both Kannada and English. We were thrilled to present our video to you all on March 19th after years of hard work.”
“But the current unpredictability, particularly in the Middle East, has created a situation that impacts our goal to reach and connect with the widest possible audience,” it went on. Therefore, we have made the challenging but well-considered choice to delay our release in the best interests of our partners and our audience.”
“We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we hope you will continue to love and support us. On June 4, 2026, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups will be released in theaters worldwide in both Indian and English. “I’ll see you at the movies,” the post ended.
