Pahalgam Terror Incident: In the aftermath of the devastating attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries, security forces initiated search operations on Wednesday to locate the perpetrators.

Authorities have released the list of names of all the victims who tragically lost their lives in the terror attack that occurred in Pahalgam’s Baisaran Valley, Jammu and Kashmir. This confirmation came a day after the horrific event claimed 26 lives on Tuesday, April 23. According to officials, postmortem examinations for all the victims were conducted at the Government Medical College Hospital in Srinagar. The hospital staff and officials worked tirelessly through the night to ensure that the process was carried out with dignity and care. Today, the bodies will be transported to the victims’ respective hometowns.

The victims hailed from several states, including Maharashtra, West Bengal, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, Kerala, Gujarat, Karnataka, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Arunachal Pradesh. Additionally, the attack also claimed the lives of a tourist from Nepal and a local resident of Pahalgam.

This initiative aims to deliver timely assistance to those affected or seeking updates about their loved ones. Tourists and others in need of aid are encouraged by police officials to use these numbers for any kind of assistance. Furthermore, an Emergency Control Room has been activated in Srinagar to broaden the support network.
