The Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s mid-range OnePlus Nord CE 5 was introduced in India in July 2025. According to a recent source, the corporation intends to introduce the new Nord series in the nation the following month. The OnePlus Nord 6 and Nord CE 6 are anticipated to be part of the new Nord series, which the firm has now hinted at. In addition, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 has apparently been approved by Indian regulators, confirming previous reports. The renamed OnePlus Turbo 6V, which is only sold in China, is reportedly the smartphone that will be introduced to the nation. In a same vein, another rumored model in the list, the OnePlus Nord 6, is expected to launch as the renamed OnePlus Turbo 6.
The OnePlus Nord 6 Series is expected to debut in India shortly.
The tech company with headquarters in China has hinted about the introduction of its new Nord series in India. The OnePlus Nord 6 and OnePlus Nord CE 6 are anticipated to be part of the next smartphone lineup. In the upcoming weeks or months, the phones’ launch date is probably going to be disclosed. Furthermore, the OnePlus Nord series now has a dedicated homepage on Amazon, proving that it is available in the nation through the online retailer.
Separately, tech blogger Anvinraj Valiyathara (@ZionsAnvin) revealed in a post on X that a OnePlus smartphone with the model number CPH2805 has been added to the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database. According to him, the model number is associated with the alleged OnePlus Nord CE 6. The listing suggests that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer may soon introduce the rumored Nord series phone in India. Additionally, the tech writer asserts that the OnePlus Turbo 6V, which is only available in China, will make its way to India.
The OnePlus Nord 6 series, which may also include the basic Nord 6, is anticipated to ship in India in April, according to a recent report, though the company has not officially confirmed these specifics. Additionally, the current leak supports previous claims that the OnePlus Nord 6 series will be released as rebranded versions of the OnePlus Turbo 6 range, which was introduced on January 8 in China earlier this year.
A 9,000mAh battery with capability for 80W wired fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging is anticipated to power the OnePlus Nord CE 6. It might have a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ (1,272×2,772 pixels) OLED LTPS screen with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. According to rumors, the phone will have an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 CPU, LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. A 50-megapixel primary rear camera and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor may be included in the OnePlus Nord CE 6.
This implies that compared to the OnePlus Nord CE 5, which debuted in India in July 2025 at a starting price of Rs. 24,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration, the phone would bring improvements on a number of fronts. It has a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,400 nits. Additionally, it is supported by a 7,100mAh battery and a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex CPU.
