Now, a Wall Street Journal report, which draws on information from Ashley, suggests that Tiffany Fong wasn’t the only influencer Musk contacted. He allegedly asked Fong to have his child, despite never meeting her in person. Fong is a prominent figure in the crypto community, boasting over 335,000 followers on X and more than 48,000 subscribers on YouTube. She gained attention for publishing exclusive interviews with controversial crypto personalities, such as Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of FTX.
The WSJ highlights that Musk began interacting with Fong on X last year, regularly liking and replying to her posts. This engagement reportedly contributed to a rapid increase in Fong’s profile, allowing her to earn $21,000 in just two weeks through the platform’s ad revenue-sharing program.
While everything initially appeared positive for the influencer, Tiffany Fong, her interactions with Elon Musk, owner of X and the world’s richest man, took an unexpected turn in November. Musk reportedly sent Fong a direct message, asking if she would consider having his child. Fong was taken aback by the request, especially since she and Musk had never met in person. She also worried that declining the offer might impact her engagement on X—a fear that, according to the WSJ report, became a reality.
Fong declined Musk’s request, reportedly citing a desire for a more traditional family structure. Shortly after her refusal, Musk unfollowed her and expressed displeasure over her sharing their exchange with others. Consequently, her engagement and income on X saw a significant decline.
This revelation is part of a broader WSJ report detailing Musk’s personal relationships and the influence he wields over women he interacts with online. Among these women is Ashley St Clair, a conservative influencer who earlier this year claimed to share a child with Musk. She told the WSJ that Musk had offered her a multimillion-dollar deal—$15 million upfront and $100,000 monthly until the child turned 21—in exchange for her silence about their alleged relationship. St Clair declined the offer.
