Corrections policy
We expect our journalists to maintain accuracy at all times, but as they are only human, mistakes can occasionally occur. Therefore, we have a well-established process in place to address factual errors promptly and appropriately.

Our team continuously monitors the FactsBay inbox. If anyone contacts us to question or challenge a fact we have broadcast or published, we will carefully document the details of when and where it occurred.
Instead of engaging in a prolonged discussion, we will record their name, contact information, and the time of the inquiry, and escalate it to the Output Editor and/or Managing Editor. If it pertains to a legal matter, we will ensure our dedicated legal adviser is informed.
They will then assess what corrective action is necessary to rectify the error on the platform where it was published.
