Images of dark chocolate with a bit of glass embedded in it were shared by an X user.
A user named @DealsDhamaka reported a “shocking incident” of purportedly discovering a piece of glass in a dark chocolate from Swiggy’s Noice brand in a post that went popular on X. The user posted on his X handle that one of his followers, @Pras_SwiftMojo, ordered this dark chocolate from Instamart. He is using social media to raise concerns about the brand, calling it “shameful.”
The user stated, “While he was eating it, he broke a piece to give to his child,” about finding a shard of glass in the chocolate. The child promptly gave it back, claiming that he had been pricked. He was shocked to see a shard of glass embedded in the chocolate.
“This is very concerning and unacceptable; food safety should never be compromised,” he continued. Shameful.
“Thanks @DealsDhamaka, just wanted to make sure it reaches people and not for any farming,” the customer @Pras_SwiftMojo wrote in a comment on the site. Companies don’t have the responsibility to ensure that their products are as high-quality as they advertise.
